A Community Space for Sports and Fitness

Historically the Madrid Ballpark served as a location for many sports from tennis to Rodeos.  It is a goal of the Friends of the Madrid Ballpark to bring family activities and sports back to the ballpark.  Sports that can be easily supported includes Basketball, Soccer, and Softball.  The Madrid Landowners Association installed a single basket for basketball and corrected 1/2 of the concrete that once served as tennis courts.  With improvements to the field, soccer could also be provided for young children in the Madrid and surrounding areas.
